Pack your flip-flops and party spirit we're getting married in paradise!
Friday, May 1, 2026 at Sandos Playacar Beach Resort, Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Mexico. We'll be there Tuesday, April 28th through Tuesday, May 5th.
Wear what makes you happy! Whether that's a sundress, khaki shorts, linen pants, or flip-flops, you'll fit right in. Comfort and fun are the vibe, so feel free to go casual or dress it up if you'd like.
The resort makes it difficult to attend if you're not staying there, so please book your hotel through the portal (we've been assured it's the least expensive way). If you find a lower price for the same stay, let our planner Roobina know!
It's a family-friendly resort and everyone is welcome. Think turquoise waters, sandy toes, and endless sunshine. This isn't just a wedding; it's a vacation with a side of vows!

Sandos Playacar6:00pmThe evening before the wedding, we’ll be gathering the Kitt family for a very special occasion: celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. This will be an intimate family dinner at the resort, honoring their milestone, their love story, and the legacy they’ve built.
We’ll also do a quick walk‑through of the wedding basics beforehand, but the heart of the evening is dedicated to celebrating Mom and Dad and everything this anniversary represents.
More details and the final restaurant location at the resort will be shared soon.

Ceremony
Garden
Sandos Playacar4:00 pmOur ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM in the garden at the resort, surrounded by flowers, sunlight, and the people we love most.
Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 PM on the Lobby Terrace, followed by the reception starting at 6:00 PM on the Terrace. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM.
We’ll have an open bar, a dance floor, and plenty of music and dancing to keep the night fun and relaxed.
The bar will close and the reception will wrap up at 9:00 PM.
We have hired a photographer and want to make sure you get photos with your family. Please come to the ceremony a bit early or stay for a few minutes after the ceremony to get a photo!
