Our Love through the Years

Gavin and Kelly met in 2017 when they were neighbors living in Wilmington at the South Front Apartments. Gavin thought she would be a great fit for his business: so he prospected her one day in the parking lot. Kelly thought he was very handsome and charming: and the rest is history! While he didn't end up with the business partner he had originally prospected, he found a girlfriend that he quickly fell in love with, and she did too.

Gavin and Kelly ended their relationship in 2018 and moved on with their lives, as they were both in different places at the time. They both found themselves in other relationships: happy, but uncertain. They had little to no communication until 2020: when (very coincidentally!) both of their relationships ended and they just so happened to be quarantining for COVID in the same area! Gavin's dad was living in Oak Island and Kelly's mom was living in Leland: just minutes away from each other.

They reconnected and built back a friendship first, that turned into a relationship, and they decided to move in together in November of 2020. They learned how to work together and made the decision to support each other through everything! They got engaged in November of 2021 and here we are today, planning and excited to share our wedding day with those we love.
