Our Story

We matched on a dating website called Hinge. Piotr, being the smart and handsome guys he is, started the conversation with this comment: “I’ve always approached dating with the mindset of finding quality, meaningful people over quantity and dating around… gut instinct is you’re quality.” I responded with: “I can tell that you are very smart! You already recognized that I am quality. ;) “ this was the start of a beautiful thing.

Our first non-zoom date was at a grassy beach park near Alki. We kept our distance, wore masks and contemplated who had Covid or if one of us would give it to the other and end up dead. I was a mental wreck. Though, Piotr won me over that day with flowers wrapped in a pink bow (my favorite color) and a care package including Lysol and N95 masks (N95 masks were worth more than their weight in gold back then). The date was short but driving home I knew he was the guy I wanted to be in quarantine with. We haven’t spent more than a few days apart since then..and to this day we still haven’t given each other Covid.

Our trip to Oahu in 2021 where we got engaged. Our room, which already had a fantastic ocean view was upgraded for free so we had a corner room with two balconies. If we were bored of the view and people watching on one side, we could move over to the other and enjoy. I proposed off the Makapu’u Lighthouse trail where I was able catch Natalie by complete surprise and get the whole experience with my drone. I really wish I had audio to go along with the video because Natalie doesn’t remember anything she said and her reaction was quite funny after the fact.

Our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, with the original plan to elope. We even went as far as purchasing a package for an intimate wedding on a fancy beach. Something didn’t feel right, we just knew we had to wait and celebrate with all of our friends and family (you). So we canceled the Hawaii wedding, using the deposit for the beautiful photos of us on the beach you see on this site and wedding invites. The rest is history. Can’t wait to do it right, with all of you at our sides!

  • More About Us

    Q. What was your most memorable date?

I would say our 2nd date. Covid had just began and there was a lot of uncertainty with everything. Places were closing faster than they could update their websites so I opted to do something unconventional in this day and age, let alone unlike me and invited Natalie over. Natalie showed up looking beautiful as ever and I cooked her dinner and we watched a movie a bit later. We had to get a selfie in the kitchen wearing our N95 masks because it would be something funny to remember many years later.

    Q. What's your favorite activity together?

I would say Vacationing, but that doesn’t happen frequently enough, so the next best thing is camping at various campgrounds throughout the state.

    Q. Where are you going for your honeymoon?

We are going on a 7 day cruise in Tahiti and will be staying an extra few days before and after our trip so we can enjoy our trip without feeling rushed. We have a few excursions planned to enjoy the island all the while leaving enough time for relaxing.

    Q. What's the best meal you have eaten together?

After a leisure drive up Chuckanut Drive, we celebrated Natalie’s birthday overlooking the waterfront at The Oyster House. Delicious steak and seafood and an amazing chocolate soufflé top it off.

    Q. We’re on the same page about

How we spend our time together vs going out, and how we’ll eventually raise a family together. We have complete confidence in each others ability to be wonderful and supportive parents.
