We can't wait to celebrate with you! In anticipation of the big day, we have created this wedding website to keep you up to date on all the details of our wedding.

When MaryCait and Nick's close friends married in January 2016, a second love story began. At the rehearsal dinner, MaryCait went over to a table of the groom's friends to introduce herself as "MaryCait, MK, Nyx" and Nick was hooked. MaryCait was smitten when she asked Nick to make a pot of coffee and he replied "As You Wish"- which means "I love you" in her favorite movie, The Princess Bride. The two spent the weekend together, learning about each other and helping the wedding run smoothly. The day MaryCait arrived back in Washington, Nick asked to fly out to see her again, and the two made plans for his birthday week in March. On that trip, Nick's first ever plane ride, the couple's bond deepened and they made the decision to start their long distance relationship. For a year, they spent every night on the phone together, and by January 2017, MaryCait moved to Charlotte, NC to start their lives together.

The Proposal

December 24, 2018, a knock on the door and Nick sends MaryCait to the bedroom. A few minutes later, they finished getting ready to go to Christmas Eve dinner. MaryCait locked the door, turned to grab a bag of presents and Nick was on one knee and asked her to marry him, and the rest is history in the making!
