Chelsea has dreamed of being engaged to Jake for over 7 years and would day dream often about how he would ask, when he would ask, and almost everyday she would think "maybe today". Yet for some reason on this random Saturday she was not expecting a proposal (her brother's upcoming wedding and all the planning had her brain perfectly distracted).

Chelsea woke up on a Saturday December 1st to a phone call from her brother asking her to come help get his wedding invitations printed. Chelsea asks Jake if they had any plans. Jake says he had hopes of going to look at curtains for the house and hanging out together, maybe go to view a few investment houses. Chelsea tells her brother to go with mom and call if they need any advice or opinions. This was their first Saturday in months together, Jake has been with clients since almost April every weekend.

After Chelsea mops and cleans the kitchen, Jake asks to go look at a house in Newcastle that he might have an investor for and Home Depot is close by he says; they can go get curtains after (it's pretty funny how excited and motivated you are to go look at curtains once you are a home owner, Chelsea is very excited).

As they drive up to the Newcastle neighborhood jake asks if they should go look at the view from the golf course, it is a crystal clear day, yes of course! Chelsea & Jake's apartment from their younger years was close by and they often loved coming to the golf course to look at the view and listen to the bag piper play at sunset.

As they walk around to the back and stand on what feels like the top of the world overlooking Seattle and Bellevue, Jake drops to one knee and asks " will you marry me" (the ring box was upside down) With tear filled eyes and total disbeliefe she says YES!
