Melissa & William

We met in the summer of 2015 in Moab, Utah where we worked together as raft guides for a non-profit serving folks with disabilities. We spent that summer getting to know each other as friends. After the summer we went our separate ways, but we stayed friends and kept in touch. Melissa came to visit Will in Washington & we both realized we had big feelings for one another! Then we reconnected in Salt Lake City, Utah in late fall of 2016 and the rest is history ❤️

Will moved in with Melissa in Salt Lake City and then we moved in to a little bus together near White Salmon, Washington. Then we moved into a beautiful little house in Hood River, Oregon where we stayed for a year. We then relocated to Asheville, North Carolina in the fall of 2018 and have been here ever since. In 2019, we added two furry additions to our little family named Harold & Marge.

In the spring of 2021, Melissa proposed to Will while watching the sunset on a pier during a wonderful trip to the Florida Keys. Then, a couple weeks later, Will proposed to Melissa while standing in the beautiful Shining Creek tucked in the mountains of North Carolina.

After 6 years together, we are so excited to celebrate with y’all on our big day!
