Here are some answers to some common questions

Are kids welcome?Yes! There will be plenty of kid-friendly activities to do throughout the weekend.

What activities will be available?There are hiking and biking trails throughout the camp property that we are all free to use. There is also a disc golf course and a large field for soccer/football/etc. Anytime during the weekend we are allowed to canoe and SUP on the private lake! You just need to wear a PFD. Friday from 4-8 pm & Saturday from 10-2 we will have the beach open for people to swim and use the inflatables!

What will the weather be like?August is usually pretty warm here in WNC. Expect it to be in the mid 80's during the day and then mid 60's at night. There are also afternoon thunderstorms here in the summertime so a rain jacket is a good idea!

When is the RSVP deadline?Please RSVP here on our website by June 26, 2023.

Can I bring a date?Yes! Please specify when you RSVP if you are bringing a guest.

What time should I arrive?If you are spending the weekend with us, feel free to arrive anytime after 4 pm on Friday August, 25. If you are joining us for just the ceremony and reception, please arrive no later than 5:00 pm on Saturday August, 26.

Will there be an open bar?We will have the best bartenders ever serving beer and wine during the cocktail hour and reception on Saturday evening. If you'd like to bring other libations for the rest of the weekend, feel free.

Will food & drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?Yes! We will have delicious food (TBD) as well as beer, wine, sweet tea, lemonade, and other yummy non-alcoholic options!

May I take a centerpiece/flowers home as a souvenir?Please reserve the bouquets for the bridesmaids to take home with them. Any other greenery/flowers/centerpieces, feel free to take with you!

Will there be any vegan / vegetarian / gluten free / special diet options?Yes! Please make a note in your RSVP whether you have any special dietary restrictions.

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors so please dress accordingly. The reception will be in a covered space.

Can I bring my dog?Camp Pinnacle has a no pets policy. Sorry!

Can I smoke cigarettes at camp?Smoking is not allowed at Camp Pinnacle.
